After studying energy and process engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, including my diploma thesis at the University of Minnesota, I completed my doctorate at the Department of Energy Systems and Energy Process Technology at the Ruhr-University Bochum. This was followed by a move to industry to work for an EPC’s within power plants in Berlin with various assignments in Germany and abroad.
